Roryn lukulista

Yksi pitkäaikaisimmista tv-sarja suosikeistani on ollut Gilmoren tytöt, ja esikuvani nuoruudessani kyseisen sarjan henkilö Rory. Niille, jotka eivät sarjasta ole kuulleet (onko sellaisia?) lienee pieni selostus paikallaan. Gilmoren tytöthän kertoo äidistä ja tyttärestä, jotka asuvat pikkukaupungissa conneticutin osavaltiossa; Star´s Hallows on kaupungin nimi. Heidän suhteensa on erilainen kuin normaalit äitien ja tytärten suhteet,sillä äiti Lorelai on saanut tyttärensä Roryn (lyhenne Lorelaista :D) vain 16-vuotiaana. Koko sarjan ajan heidän suhteensa peilautuu muun muassa Lorelain ei niin hyvään suhteeseen oman äitinsä kanssa. Ei sarjan juonenkäänteistä nyt sen enempää ;) Sanon vain että suosittelen katsomaan.

Joka tapauksessa Rory on todellinen lukutoukka. Läpi koko sarjan näemme kuinka Rory lukee kirjoja, juttelee kirjoista äitinsä ja muidenkin hahmojen kanssa. Hänellä on kirja mukanaan joka paikassa, ellei useampikin. Jopa koulun tansseihin hän on varustautunut kirjalla. Sarjan aikana mainitaan monia kirjoja, jotka voidaan olettaa Rory`n lukeneen. 

Olenkin törmännyt netissä sellaiseen ilmiöön kuin Roryn lukulista. Sitä on joissain englanninkielisissä blogeissa ja kirjasivustoissa alettu lukemaan. Vähän aikaa asiaa muhittuani päässäni, päätin että aion ottaa Rory`n lukulistan osaksi elämääni ja blogiani. Alan vähitellen käymään sitä läpi. Oman versioni listasta olen yhyttänyt tältä sivustolta.     Aion siis alkaa käymään tuota yllä olevaa listaa läpi. Olen lihavoinut listalta ne kirjat, jotka olen jo lukenut. En aio lukea kaikkia englanniksi, vaikka osa saattaa tulla englanniksi luettuakin. Kirjoista, jotka olen tummentanut olen tainnut melkein kaikki lukea suomennoksina. Eli luultavasti enimmäkseen tulen turvautumaan suomennoksiin. Kuten äsken sanoin saattaa olla, että osan luen englanniksi, jos se sattuu sopimaan paremmin ;) Saa nähdä miten pitkään tämän listan läpikäymisessä menee. :D Eiköhän se kuitenkin joskus loppuun saateta.
